Under the supervision of the Chief Mechanic, the Mechanicis responsible for the maintenance of the Select Aviation College fleet. He/she will be called upon to work on single-engine aircraft (Cessna 150, Cessna 172, Cessna 180 and Cessna 185), on twin-engine aircraft (PA-44) as well as on Robinson R44 and Bell 206 helicopters. regular aircraft maintenance in addition to managing occasional aircraft maintenance (snags). He/she will have to work according to the norms and standards required of an Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO).

Aircraft maintenance mechanic license

Working conditions
Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The work is done in a hangar located at the Gatineau Executive Airport. This work requires good physical stamina.
