Our fleet of more than 40 airplanes and helicopters as well as our 3 cutting-edge flight simulators will offer you the opportunity to improve your skills on different types of aircraft in varied weather conditions.
We offer a full range of airplane, seaplane, and helicopter piloting courses. Do you want to become an airline pilot, a bush pilot or a helicopter pilot? You will be able to choose the flight course that best meets your expectations among our commercial air transport pilot ACS or our modular aviation training programs.

Our air transport pilot ACS and modular programs provide access to several types of pilot licenses:
- Integrated ATPL: integrated airline transport pilot license
- CPL(H): Commercial pilot license (helicopter)
- CPL(A): Commercial pilot license (airplane)
- PPL(H): Private pilot license (helicopter)
- PPL(A): Private pilot license (airplane)
Select Aviation College is one of the leading aviation schools in Canada. Our airplane and helicopter pilot training courses are regulated by Transport Canada and the ministère de l’Enseignement supérieur of Quebec.
Do you have what it takes to become a pilot?
Eligibility requirements
To be eligible for our flight training programs, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 17 years old
- Have completed your secondary school (or training deemed equivalent)
- Qualify for a category 1 Medical Certificate, according to the physical and mental standards established by Transport Canada
- Have a Canadian citizenship, landed immigrant status or any other recognized status giving the right to study in Quebec
For our ACS, the following requirements must also apply:
- Have a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS)
- OR have interrupted your full-time studies for at least 2 consecutive sessions or one school year
- OR have pursued, for a period of at least 1 year, post-secondary studies.
