ACS: Attestation of college studies

EWA.18 Commercial Air transport pilot: Bush

18-24 MONTHS PROGRAM

A Ministry of Education accredited Career Bush Pilot Program.

Select Aviation College is one of the very few flight schools in Canada to offer an aviation ACS (Attestation of College Studies). This program leads to the associated licenses, ratings and a college level certificate. International students looking to work locally as a pilot after graduation will benefit from the eligibility for the up-to-3-year Canada Post Graduate Work Permit.

This program is geared toward pilots entering the industry, or those who want to master the art of float flying.

A UNIQUE TRAINING PROGRAM

The unique ACS Bush Pilot program will not only help you become a professional pilot but will allow you to enter the job market upon graduation. With 230 flight hours including 50 hours of seaplane training, you will be able to be directly operational for serious companies anywhere in the world.

FOR ADVENTUROUS PILOTS

In Canada, the first use of bush flying was for exploration and development. Later, bush flying became important during rescue operations. Pilots who are passionate about this type of flight need rigorous training, mechanical knowledge and must develop an adventurous spirit. Be ready for long working days, often alone and in challenging weather conditions. Choose a career with no limits and feel free like the pioneers of the second largest and wildest country on the planet.

SMOOTH SKIES NEVER MADE A SKILLED PILOT

From mountain flying to advanced water handling, you will be trained by the best instructors in the country so you can make the best decisions in any situation. We strongly believe that a safe and efficient pilot is one who is aware of the dangers, and knows his/her limits and those of the aircraft. We emphasize pre-flight preparation and in-depth analysis of meteorology.

The duration of each sessions may vary from one student to another.
